The sixth project carried out by our Computer Science students was the development of a project based on Optimization and Operational Research, with the aim of presenting innovative solutions to the project partners through the use of technology.
PROBLEM: The need to obtain methods for restricting resources during the process of cutting and producing raw materials.
OBJECTIVE: To develop a TRIM optimization solution for the paper reel cutting machine, meeting the demands of different customer orders.

PROBLEM: Deficit in planning the distribution of the company's field teams.
OBJECTIVE: Algorithm for optimizing field technician planning and resource distribution, improving service and service level.

OBJECTIVE: To optimize the routing of residential meter readers, increasing productivity and effectiveness by reducing the number of routes.
